 The
STX Consortium and standard was founded March 14th,
2003 as a competence center for the STX mezzanine embedded PC standard
by 4 companies.
The STX (Smarter Technology eXtension) was developed
by IBSmm in 1999, and its concept was initially presented on the CeBIT
trade show in February 2000 with the first STX based products introduced
to the market. Today, STX is a worldwide accepted
open standard for embedded PC Modules.
STX mezzanine embedded PC solutions promise secure investments
in tomorrow's applications.
